Eggs devoured, Ms Quail rightfully takes revenge

Wanted Home for Female Quail
I have a female button quail who needs a new home. She did have a mate and had started laying eggs but unfortunately the eggs were being eaten, we think by the male. Then after 3 months of being fine together the female quail pecked the males neck quite severly and he had to be put down. After reading up on the website it says that the female species of button quail need 1 female to five males to keep them in line so to speak.
