..is nigh? Or so it seems with this July-burns, August-drenches weather thing going on. I only just finished reading Gaiman and Pratchett’s Good Omens (about 10 years late) so I keep expecting to see Horsemen of the Apocalypse biking past laughing at the puny humans stumbling through the rain.
I got stuck on the way to work in a cafe (terrible shame, I thought over a latte) due to the heaviest rain. It defied Amsterdam’s guttering and generally caused an Indiana Jones style dodge-and-run path through the alleyways.
Will upload one of those shitty files from my phone, and you’ll see what I mean.
Finally got around to installing Thunderbird on my work machine. Very nice, so perhaps I won’t have to look into Squirrelmail and this new encrypty thing EnigmaMail (no idea if it’s any good, but it’s a fine and overdue solution). Expect a new GnuPG key from me soon, and we should all be encrypting our mail. Even if just to be beligerant.
Incidentally, how cool is Mac OS X that you can ssh tunnel out-of-the-box? The mainstream has never been so fun!
