So, I have downloaded Skype finally. Seek me out if you like, username loothi. I also looked at VOIP Buster which for 5 Euro (was 1) gives you unlimited calls to select countries. Sounds like it might go bust after the initial cash flow slows so I haven’t downloaded. If anyone knows better, I will give it a try.
Occurs to me however that only relatives and non-geeks would be my target for this voice thing. I am much more comfy with text based communications. Avoid all that uncomfortable silence, or faltering, or running out of conversation business. Anyway, it’s lonely and I look like an idiot with this customer support style headphone kit on - so someone call me so I can see what I am missing.
