Greetings from Byron Bay, NSW, spiritual home of the Aussie feral and alternative lifestylers. I am visiting my friend, magickal activist and reluctant geek, Sean and we’ve been having a humdinger of a time. Not only have I excelled myself at healthy, outdoor activities (Uphill cycling! Climbing mount Warning! Camping at Broken Head!) but I’ve been productively geeking on Sean’s ADSL. I had forgotten the joy of broadband, and this is wireless too, you just don’t need to get out of bed!

In addition to those fun and games, an opportunity arose for some healthy self-promotion via the Gentoo Weekly Newsletter User Stories. They’d been short a user story for two weeks, so purely altruistically, I boshed them up a few facts and trivialities as a Gentoo user, and sent them a photo. See GWN July 7th (page down to “User Stories”). Further more, Sean and I had a hearty chuckle at our attempt to subtly subvert the Gentoo Weekly Newsletter with the prominent placement of a book from Sean’s magickal library. To the right of my hand in the newsletter photo is a copy of this:

Phallic Worship - book cover
