Today I had the strangest sensation that everything I touched was buzzing like a mobile “vibralert”. First a pen in my hand making contact with a bottle of pepsi max (incidentally *the* most chemically strong flavoured of all the sugar free cola drinks), then, whilst walking with my (occasionally vibrating) phone in one hand I could have sworn that I had another vibrating device in my backpack. Very odd. Maybe I am becoming sensitive to some kind of earth vibes, man, or it could be the onset of Parkinsons perhaps.
Also, my desktop at work peculiarly has an icon in the taskbar that tells me what temperature it is in Vienna, Austria and I think you’ll all be surprised to know it’s a whopping -8C or 16F! Coldest I’ve seen it yet! Why Vienna you may ask, and I’ll admit I’m as baffled as you. Perhaps my predeccessor was planning a holiday or seeking a means of empathy with his European roots. Anyway, it’s a service of Weathercast and I did once attempt to set it to London but it complained that I couldn’t get weather details for that area, I could however get Aberystwyth in Wales (currently around 2C or 26F). So Vienna it is, and I must say that right now I am feeling for those Austrians in the snow.
