Saw the Stuffies last night in Hackney. Wicked gig, it’s been a long time since I bounced with a few hundred sweaty people and sang along as loud as my lungs would let me. They did all the old faves, “Don’t let me down”, “give, give, give”, “It’s yer money I’m after Baby”, “10 trenches deep” (note the kudos for knowing old B-sides) ;-). Yeah I know - they were never a great band, but they were always so much fun live, and it’s cool to relive that teenage fanatisicm. Miles Hunt was on form too - always worth seeing. groovebound.
