Thumbs up for Moulin Rouge. I loved Romeo and Juliet so I wasn’t surprised this film kept my attention. It had the same recipe of epic themes, hammy theatre, and a large dose of pop culture (“Roxanne”!) Oh, and another epic love story, which I loved but I can’t see many people not of the romantic nature really getting into it.
