Worked really late tonight. There had been an accident in the road by my bus stop. Two people looked quite badly injured and were being shifted into ambulances very slowly. The road was shut so I walked to Clapham Junction. I had my new “earwear” radio which is a mini radio receiver with a short anntenna that you stick in one ear, and another smaller earpeice for the other side. It’s very light and hardly shows apart from the antenna which protrutes out from my hair in a very android fashion.
I found myself listening to Mark Lamarr doing a roots reggae and ska show. It was excellent and I thought he was kidding when he said it was radio 2.
Has radio 2 got cool (my parents always listened to its dull easy listening / ageing senile DJ’s when I was a kid) or have I suddently got old? Most odd.
