Good weekend - have a video with video plus and long play and a “comfort of your own home” remote - and fairy lights!!
Went to old house to reclaim last things from it. Shared a moment with my old house, since i lived there for 17 years. Wandered around sighing over all the places I’ve had dens or hidyholes, ladders I would routinely use to assist me break in to the upstairs bedroom when I forgot my keys, trees I sat in. My mum was unimpressed. She isn’t very sentimental.
Anyway, fairy lights! Sparkly white ones for my room, which I’ve draped across the curtains that cover the bay window.. and multicoloured ones for the living room. It was great until Bjorn plugged them in and they lit - then the fuse blew, so we couldn’t get it working.
Slightly worried about leaving them all all evening since my mum said something about fires and whatnot.. but will risk it.
Saw my oldest friend Annabel. We had a blast. One of these days she’ll get an email address and i’ll bombard her with mail, until then - i only ever see her every 6 months.
